METHUEN – Victoria A. (Woidyla) Flynn age 83 died Friday April 4, 2008 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre with her daughter at her bedside.
Born and educated in Haverhill, MA, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She moved to Pleasant Valley in Methuen where she was a longtime resident. For 30 years she worked at Western Electric in North Andover, MA retiring in 1975. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flower gardening and vacationing during the summer months at Plum Island. She also enjoyed most of all spending time with her family especially caring for her grandsons.
The widow of John J. Flynn, she leaves her daughter former East District City Councilor Patricia Uliano and her husband Donald of Methuen.
Grandsons Michael Uliano and his wife Jamie of Methuen, Joseph Uliano and his fiancee Corinne Sullivan of Medford, MA
Sister Helen Sierpina of New Hampshire.
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre 10 Ingalls Court Methuen, MA 01844. Alzheimers Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home with burial following in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
