TYNAN Ambrose L. “Amby” In West Roxbury formerly of Brookline and Wareham, April 4, 2008. Beloved husband of 60 years to Anna E. (Anglin) “Nancy”. Loving father John and his wife Kathleen of West Roxbury, Charles and his wife Kathleen of Arlington, Nancy Ellen Cederholm and her husband Karl of Wareham and the late Kathleen Tynan. Devoted brother of William of South Yarmouth, Mary and Anna Tynan and Eileen Ward all of Brookline and the late John and Joseph Tynan. Dear grandfather to Sean, Kelly, Brian, Conor, Whitney and Seth Tynan and Megan and Logan Cederholm. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews and close friends. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday April 9, at 9am.followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Retired employee Town of Brookline Highway Dept. Late U.S. Army Veteran, member of the 83rd. Infantry Division, Brookline VFW Post 864, West Roxbury DAV. Member of the Boston Police Emerald Society. Interment Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations in Amby’s memory to the Joseph M. Tynan Scholarship Fund c/o BHS 115 Greenough St. Brookline, Ma. 02445 or VA Hospital, MICU, West Roxbury, Ma. 02132.
