Gertie Mae Jenkins Gertie Mae Jenkins, 81, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Hubert Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm Friday and from 11 am until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 19, 1927 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Aulsie Tigart and Willie Mae Hooper Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Buck" Jenkins, a son, David Jenkins and a daughter, Sandra Thompson. Survivors include six sons, Cecil, Luther, Roger, Berney, Marvin, and Greg Jenkins all of Clarksville; three daughters Debbie Jenkins Rittenberry, and Kathy Nelson both of Clarksville; and Dorothy Ann Farley, Hopkinsville, KY; a sister, Vicki Doron, Clarksville; twenty nine grandchildren and twenty nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Jenkins, Craig Carter, Daniel Dick, Tyler Jenkins, Matthew Grotchel, Scott Thompson, Christopher Carter, and Justin Jenkins.
