Obituary


Manchester– Peter J. Jobin, 75, died April 2, 2008 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on February 26, 1933, the son of Arthur and Edith (Rivet) Jobin, and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
He served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict, and concluded his military career after serving 23 years.
Prior to his retirement he worked at Agway, Feed Division, and Christy’s Market.
He was a 40 year member of Manchester American Legion Post 79.
He was a coach for Manchester South Little League Baseball for over 20 years, was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting, gardening, and fishing.
Family members include his wife of 46 years, Barbara (Mira) Jobin, of Manchester, 3 sons Peter E. Jobin, David R. Jobin, Thomas A. Jobin, all of Manchester, 7 brothers Henry Jobin, Robert Jobin, both of AZ., Paul Jobin, Butch Jobin, both of IL., Perley Jobin, William Jobin, Charles Jobin, all of Manchester, 1 sister Eleanor Harding, of Hooksett.
In His Life: He loved his 15 grandchildren, Scott, Heather, Michael, Jessica M., Shannon S., Shannon M., David, Samantha, Jesseca J., Nicole, Kyle, Shane, Stephanie, Jeremy, Brianna, and 9 great greatgrandchildren.
Services: Calling hours will be on Friday from 3 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am in St. Joseph Cathedral.
Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
