Beloved husband of M. Lorraine (Ferrie) Foner, Newt was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the third of ten children of the late Newton F. and Dora Foner. He is also survived by three sisters (Gertrude Levine of State College, PA, Rachel Powell of Thornville, OH, and Mary Rosenthal of Springfield) and his brother Dr. Max Foner of Memphis, TN, and by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Newt’s memory may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Building # 9, Lawrence, Massachusetts 01843. For additional information, please visit www.burkemagliozzi.com.
