Franklin, Alice P. (nee) Ivery age 70 of Englewood formerly of Hackensack died Sunday, March 30, 2008. Devoted mother of Anthony Franklin and his wife Barbara, and Nadine Franklin. Dear sister of Bernice Jones and her husband Eddie, Roberta Jones, and Gertrude Littlejohn. Loving grandmother of Eron, Seane, and Sabrina Boyd, Tara Watts, and Jessica Franklin. Cherished great-grandmother of 4 great-grandchildren. Her memory will live in the hearts of her many loving family members and friends. Alice was employed for many years at the Little Lighthouse Learning and Children Services in Teaneck, also at Becton and Dickinson in Rutherford and National Community Bank in Maywood. She was an active member of Christ Church in Montclair, NJ where she served in the Children’s Ministry, the Communion Ministry, and the Prayer Ministry. Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday 7-9PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11AM at Christ Church, Montclair.
