Obituary

WEST BOYLSTON-Warren F. “Bud” Trow, M.D., 81, passed away Monday, March 31 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his wife of 50 years, Dorothy N. “Dolly” (Finnigan) Trow; his daughter Kathryn N. Trow of West Boylston; his brother, Wesley R. Trow of Princeton and nieces and nephews. His brother, Earle F Trow predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of Luther S. and Elsie (Brown) Trow and graduated from North High School. He received his bachelor’s degree at Clark University and his medical degree from Tufts Medical University. He served his internship and residency at the former Worcester City Hospital. Bud served in the Navy during WW II with the Hospital Corp. He was a general practitioner for 38 years in West Boylston. Bud founded and led the Tuxedo Classic Jazz Band and played for many other local Jazz Bands in the area over the years.

Dr. Trow’s Funeral Service will be Friday, April 4 at 11:00 AM at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 3 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
