Mary Francis (Coleman) Allen, died peacefully, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Fatima Hospital surrounded by her three children. She was the widow of Arthur D. Allen, who died on June 13, 2007.
Born in Esmond, she was a daughter of the late William P. and Ada (Adams) Coleman. Mary was a wonderful, beautiful, care giving woman to so many.
She is survived by and was the beloved mother of her children, Donald F. Allen, David W. Allen and his wife Diane, Deborah J. Allen and her future son in law, William C. McHugh all of Smithfield, two grandchildren Ashley and David Allen, and a great grandson Cameron Corriveau. She was the twin sister of the late Vincent Coleman and twins Ronald and Donald Coleman.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 10am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. Burial will follow in RI Veterans’ Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-7pm.
