Erasmo Adorno, 65, of New Bedford died March 22, 2008 unexpectedly at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the former husband of Maria (Maldonado) Adorno.
Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, he lived in New Bedford for the last 39 years.
He loved to be with his family and playing dominoes.
Survivors include his former wife; his girlfriend, Gisela Melendez; a son, Victor Adorno, and his girlfriend Aida Aponte; a daughter, Iris Bajandas, and her husband Wilson; 2 stepchildren, Rosa and Alexandel Rios,; 4 brothers, Benjamin, Domingo, Virgilio and Justino Adorno; 5 sisters, Ana Diaz, and her husband Juan, Carmela Adorno, Antonia Trinidad, and her companion Ramon Vazquez, Mariana Adorno and Rosa Adorno; 5 grandchildren, Shayna, Alexis, Liani, Taina and Thalia; and 4 step-grandchildren, Isaiah and Juan Almonte, Adrina and Alexandel Rios, Jr.
He was the father of the late Manuel Adorno and brother of the late Carlos Adorno.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
