Mr. Warren K. C. Tucker, 95, of 19 Spruce St., Gorham, NH, passed away on Saturday morning March 22, 2008 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. He was born in Dunbarton, NH on October 28, 1912 the son of Charles and Rose (Fontain) Tucker. He lived in Dunbarton until he came to the north country to work in the CCC camps and then was hired by the Brown Company in the woods department. During those years he lived in Wentworth Location, Berlin and lastly in Gorham. For the last 25-30 years of his employment, he was the Superintendent of Maintenance in the Woods Dept. for the Brown Company. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Berlin. He loved gardening in his retirement and liked to travel.
Members of the family include his son Byron Tucker and his wife Marion of Stoddard, NH; his daughter Joyce Reynolds and her husband Harry of Smithsburg, MD; step-daughter Sandra Corrigan of Virginia; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Doris (McGinley) Tucker and his second wife Rita (Gallant) Tucker.
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date in the Mt. Hayes Cemetery in Gorham. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Homes of Berlin & Gorham.
