Beatrice (Cabral) Nunes, age 88 formerly of Somerset. Widow of Frank A. Nunes, Jr. & daughter of the late John & Nora (Pacheco) Cabral. Passed away March 22, 2008. Born in Fall River & a Somerset resident for 85 years. She was a member of St. John of God Church, their Women’s Guild & the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the P.A.C.L. of Somerset. She worked at Har Lee Mfg. for 11 years & Davol Rubber Co. in Providence for 35 years as a trimmer.
She is survived by 1 son: Paul F. & wife Rhonda Nunes of Bristol, RI; l daughter: Donna P. Botelho of Dighton; 1 brother: George P. Cabral of Somerset; 3 grandchildren: Douglas Nadeau, Joseph & Anthony Botelho & several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Walter Cabral & Dorothy Oliveira.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John of God Church at 11 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Tuesday 5-9 PM.
