SALEM - William J. Noszka, 96, of Salem, died Friday afternoon, March 21, 2008 at the Rainbow Nursing Center, Peabody.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Michael & Julia (Wojcik) Noszka. A lifelong resident of the city, he was a parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church, and the Salem Council on Aging, where he enjoyed taking part in the activities at the center and was an avid dancer.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years as a bus driver for the MBTA.
He leaves several cousins and was predeceased by his wife Christine (Prenka) Noszka, a son Frederick Noszka and his sister, Jane E. Noszka.
His funeral service will be held Thursday. March 27, 2008 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem.
