Isabella Tortora, 92 of Somerville died Monday after a brief illness in the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital Melrose, MA.
Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Sergio and Ippolita (DiReda) Pedone. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed her family.
Beloved wife of the late Francesco. Devoted mother of Giulio Tortora of Stoneham, Sergio Tortora of Wareham, Mauro Tortora of Somerville, Maria Pellegrini of Lynnfield, Ippolita Frisiello, and John Tortora both of Saugus. Also survived by 21 loving grandchildren and 16 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 9.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
