Karen M. (Tenreiro) Edwards, 39, of New Bedford died February 16, 2003 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of Daniel B. Edwards and daughter of Evelyn (Silveira) Tenreiro of New Bedford and the late Walter Tenreiro.
Mrs. Edwards was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Edwards was formerly employed by Nichols House Nursing Home as a certified nurses aide.
She was a volunteer at Catholic Social Services.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; 2 daughters, Keri A. Olival and Tara M. Edwards, both of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Kevin Tenreiro and Michael Tenreiro, both of South Dartmouth; a grandson, Jarell Rodriguez of New Bedford; and a nephew.
She was the brother of the late Kenneth Tenreiro.
