Obituary

Albina (Riopel) Trinque 102, formerly of Blackstone, died Monday in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Ernest Trinque. Mrs. Trinque was born in St. Michel des Saint, PQ Canada a daughter of the late Emile and Maria (Richard) Riopel. She was a textile worker for the French Worsted and Hanora Mills for many years before retiring in 1970. Mrs. Trinque was a member of Les Dames de St. Anne, and was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Blackstone. She is survived by two sons: Paul Trinque of Woonsocket, and Gerard Trinque of Prince Edward Island Canada. She is also survived by three daughters Sr. Marcia Trinque of the Trappistine Order in Wrentham, Lucille Hannon of Blackstone, Madeleine Jolin of Uxbridge, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Robert Trinque. In addition, Mrs. Trinque was the sister of the late Louis, Donat, Lucien, Odile, Milena, Helene and Yvonne Riopel, and Lucy Houle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 am. in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd. Cumberland, with a brief visitation in the gathering space of the church beginning at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. In lieu of flowers mass offerings would be greatly appreciated.
