Goffstown-Donald L. Trumble, 81, died March 19, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on January 26, 1927 the son of Cyrus and Amelia (Lavalle) Trumble and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
He served his country in the US Navy.
Prior to his retirement he had been a salesman with Goulet Supply and Sundeen Appliances.
He was a member of the P.A.C, and Turner Hall Gymnastics. He enjoyed his family, woodworking, and his summer home in Meredith.
Members of his family include his wife of 58 years Irene (Desmarais) Trumble of Goffstown, 4 daughters Gail Martel of Dunbarton, Susan Lamoureux of Brandon, VT., Donna Raymond of Dunbarton and Denise Bennett of Laconia, 9 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, one brother Robert Trumble of Manchester, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter Sandra Trumble in 1955.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
