Johnnie Nall, 61, of Fitzgerald died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, March 20, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Revs. Kelly Brown, Charles Nall and Ches Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Nall was born November 24, 1946 in Fitzgerald to the late J. Farel Nall and the late Bernice Reynolds Nall. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1965 moving back in 1995 from Albany, where he worked for thirty-five years at Proctor & Gamble. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Nall was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. He was an avid Purple Hurricane fan, listening to every game on the radio and also loved the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and Nascar Racing.
Mr. Nall is survived by his wife, Glynis Hattaway Nall of Fitzgerald; daughters & sons-in-law, Pamela & Lee Damitz of Crawfordville, FL and Kelly & Joey Booth of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Summer Booth, D.J. Booth and Christopher Damitz; brother & sister-in-law, James & Jenny Nall of Lilburn, GA; nephew, Jimmy Nall of Los Angeles, CA; niece, Justin Nall Jacobs of Valdosta, GA; uncles and aunts, Elton & Mary Reynolds of Fitzgerald, GA and Charles & Hanne Nall of Warner Robins, GA.
