Mr. John J. Kurey, age 87 died Friday Feb. 14, at Embassy House Skilled Nursing & Rehab. Center of Brockton, after a lengthy illness.
John worked for many years in the Construction Industry for Local #22 in Boston. John was also a longtime member of the Italian American Circle Club of Medford. Mr. Kurey was a Medford resident for 43 years, formerly of the South End of Boston.
He is survived by his daughters Ann Brower of Brockton, and Nancy Norton of Rutland, VT. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Ruth Von Kelsch of Wellesley and the late Camella Windress. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, February 19 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
