Dartmouth –Emilia (Botelho) Teves age 96 years died March 16, 2008 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the widow of Jose Teves. Mother of Humberto Furtado of New Bedford, Jose M. Furtado of Saugas, Ma, Duarte Furtado of New Bedford and Angela M. Barbosa of New Bedford.She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Mrs Teves was the sister of the late Maria Costa , Beatres Teves, and Guilherme Botelho.
Mrs. Teves was the daughter of the late Rosa (deSousa) and Manuel Botelho. She was born Salga St. Michael, Azores and has lived in the New Bedford area since 1969. She was a floor girl at Local Textile Mills until her retirement..
Mrs. Teves Funeral will be Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church; Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 P.M.
