John S. Kirylo passed away on March 14, 2008. He was 83 years old.
Born in Cambridge, John was a longtime resident of Malden. He worked as a sheet metal worker for the MBTA for many years and was a 60 year member of the Local 17 Sheet Metal Union. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
John was the devoted husband of the late Eleanor (Cobb) Kirylo. He was the beloved father of Ellie Talbot and her husband Billy of Medford, Fran Manning and her husband Paul of Malden and John Walters and his wife Betty of Somerville. He was the dear brother of Alice McGinnes and Alphonse Kirylo and is predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. John was the cherished grandfather of William Talbot and Jessica and Melissa Manning. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, March 18th from 4-8 p.m. A service will be held at 7:30 p.m. during visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
