Esther Kibby passed away at the Weymouth Health Care Center on March 8, 2008 at the age of 99. Miss Kibby is the daughter of the late Elmer and Jessie (Crosby) Kibby. She is survived by a nephew, Richard Kibby Sr. of Deerfield, NH, a great nephew Richard Kibby Jr. of Plaistow, NH and a great niece, Karen Buchanan of Freemont, NH. Esther is predeceased by her sister Dorothy Loud and her brothers, Hollis Kibby and Robert Kibby. Miss. Kibby was born in Boston and spent the rest of her life in South Weymouth. She graduated from Weymouth High School in 1924 and Burdett College in 1925. Esther was a private secretary for the American Surety Company later Transamerica Insurance Company from 1925 to 1968. She is a past member of the Weymouth Historical Society. Friends and relatives are invited to a Graveside Service at the Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West St. Braintree on Tuesday March 17 at 11 A.M.
