
Yvette M. Paquette, 94, of Lincoln, formerly of Chateau Clare, Woonsocket, died Tuesday at The Holiday. She was the wife of the late Edgar A. Paquette.
Born in St. Guilluame, P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Marie Louise (Beaudette) Desserres.
Mrs. Pauqette worked for the Stamina Mill and the McCarthy’s and Grant’s Department stores for many years before retiring in 1975.
She was the Past President of the Belhumeur Duhamel Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 62, and a member of the Trinity Club, St. Louis Seniors, Our Lady of Victories Seniors, St. Louis Guild, and the Chateau Clare Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Paulette Angelini, and her husband Richard, of Woonsocket, her daughter-in-law, Victoria Paquette of Oregon, 3 grandchildren, Stephanie Sweeton, Timothy Angelini, and Sarah Paquette, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late David Paquette, and sister of the late Paul Emile, George, Jean Paul, Lucien, Elosius, and Charles Desserres, Marie-Ange Desserres, Alice Norman, Sr. Marie-Rose Dessert, Aurore Robert, Therese Salo, and Marie-Reine Forget. .
Her funeral will be Monday at 9:00 am from the MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
