TYNGSBORO - Stanley Charles Fabianski, Sr., 93, a longtime Tyngsboro resident and former Cambridge resident, died Saturday March 8th at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was the husband of the late Alice L. (Millerick) Fabianski who died February 6th 1989.
He was born in Cambridge on May 3, 1914, and was the son of the late Thomas and Aniela (Ficner) Fabianski. He attended Cambridge Public schools and was a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School, class of 1931.
Mr. Fabianski was appointed to the Cambridge Fire Department in 1939 and retired after forty years of service in 1978 as a Lieutenant.
He was an avid gardener.
He was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut and was a member of the Cambridge Firefighters Local 30.
Mr. Fabianski is survived by two sons, Stanley C. Fabianski Jr. and his wife Claire of Tyngsboro; and Thomas Fabianski of Hudson, NH; a daughter Alice Pugliese and her husband Larry of West Palm Beach, FL; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; his brother Walter Fabianski and his wife Helen of Cambridge; three nieces; and two nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Helen Chrusciel of Brighton.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
