Elizabeth (Libba ) Riley Edwards Elizabeth (Libba) Riley Edwards, 86, Clarksville, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Neal-Tapley Chapel with Father Eric Lee Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday and from 10 am until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Libba was born June 27, 1921 in Clarksville, TN daughter of the late J. Frank Riley and Bessie Nichols Riley. She was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic CHurch. Survivors include her husband John W. Edwards, Jr. (Sunny); son John W. (Johnny) Edwards, III (Paula), Cunningham, TN; daughter, Elizabeth (Bess) E. Stratton, Neptune, TN; a grandson, John Riley Edwards; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Wyatt and Kathrine Miller;two great-grandsons Steven Tyler Stratton and James Maximus Miller and a sister-in-law, Hazel Edwards Goodlett. Pallbearers will be Steven Tyler Stratton, Ozzie DePaolo, Bill Lyle, Jimmy Lynch, Charlie Crow, Chris Crow, Steven W. Stratton and John Goodlett. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Constance Johnson, Dr. Karen Stell, Dr. Vernon Carrigan, Jack Turner, Bob Batson, Fred Landiss, Stan Vincent, Elwyn Patch, Hubert Barnett, Lee Elliott, Col. Bill Reeder, John Leddy, Jim Daddario, Henry Martin, Gary Scott, Edwin W. Smith, Ray Darnell, Norbert Hock, Ken Spiceland and Dr. W.G. Lyle.
