Shannon R. Wright-Ettinger, 35
South Portland, Maine

Shannon R. Wright-Ettinger, 35, of South Portland, Maine, formerly of Norton died on Thursday March 6, 2008 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford, Maine as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the wife of Jeffrey Ettinger.
Born in Attleboro, Ma on May 25, 1972 she was a loving daughter of Jeanne E. (Godsoe) Smith and her husband Gordon of Clinton, Utah, Robert W. Wright, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Middleboro and Kibbey C. Leavitt of Taunton.
She grew up in Mansfield and Norton, was educated in Norton and was a 1990 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational High School in Easton where she majored in cosmetology. At the time of her death she had been attending the Seacoast Career School in Sanford.
A former Personnel Care Assistant she was a former employee at Dolly Farm in Westbrook, Maine. She took great pride in the caring of the elderly.
As a child she was baptized in the North Middleboro Congregational Church in Middleboro. She was a former member of the Attleboro Community Theatre where played an active part in acting and production.
Shannon was a true New England sports fan. She loved motorcycles and had a special place in her heart for horses. The most important part of her life was her family, especially her precious son Jackson Daniel Ettinger. She had made her home in South Portland for the past years and was a former resident of Norton for most of her life.
In addition to her husband, son and parents she was the dear and devoted sister of Maggie M. Wright of Plymouth, Casey A. Leavitt of Brighton, Jesse R. Wright of Pembroke and Jessa K. Leavitt and her companion Brad Parker of Taunton,grandaughter of Mary Wright of Middleboro, also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including her dearest friend Tammy Nyrell.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday March 12th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be in the Titicut Parish Cemetery, North Middleboro.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday March 11th from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
