Obituary

In Taunton, March 5, 2008 Benjamin F. Titlow, husband of Phyllis (Anderson) Titlow died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 85. Born in Princeton, West Virginia, Benjamin was the son of the late Charles and Sarah (Berry) Titlow. Benjamin was educated in West Virginia schools and graduated from Concord College in West Virginia. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII and was at the Battle of the Bulge. Benjamin was a retired Supervisor for Algonquin S.N.G. Co. in Assonet retiring in 1985. Benjamin loved to play golf, softball and basketball. He was the former Bishop of North Dartmouth Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints for seven years. Besides his wife Benjamin leaves his son Michael Titlow of Pocoatello, Idaho and the late Barry Titlow. Grandfather of Four Grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday, March 10th from 4-7 pm. A service will be held at the West Bridgewater Ward Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Manley Street in West Bridgewater Tuesday, March 11th at 11 am. Visitation at the church Tuesday morning will be from 10 am. to 11 am. Interment Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45pm. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations in Benjamin’s memory may be made to the Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Attn. Bishop Gordon Laws, 32 Yoke Road, Bridgewater, MA. 02324
