Roger E. Jolin, 90, of Manchester, died March 4, 2008 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born in Manchester on January 18, 1918, the son of Philias and Exilda (Croteau) Jolin. He was educated in the local school system and was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, having served in the Pacific Theater.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed in civil service maintenance at the former Grenier Field and in New Boston. He had also been employed in the maintenance department at the University of New Hampshire, Manchester.
Family members include his wife of 61 years, Yvonne M. (Dubois) Jolin of Manchester; one daughter, Cecile J. Smith of West Lebanon, NH; one son, Ronald E. Jolin of Chester; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and a niece.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday March 10, 2008 in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
