Mark Evans, 47, of Manchester NH., formerly of Stoneham, died suddenly Sunday at home. Mark was born in Woburn, and raised in Stoneham, where he lived for many years. He attended Stoneham Schools. He and his late father, Bert Evans who died a few years ago worked in the local area as builders and finish carpenters. Mark moved to Manchester eight years ago with his wife Susan, but continued to work in the Woburn area as a Carpenter and was also employed with the Atlantic Gelatin Co. which is now owned by Craft Foods. He enjoyed spending time with his family outdoors, camping and at the seacoast. He was a dedicated, devoted and adored father and husband and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife Susan, Mark is survived by two loving daughters, Yvonne S. and Channon E. Evans of Manchester, NH. He also leaves his mother, Joanne M. (McLaughlin) of Stoneham and five sisters, Patricia Antonellis of N. Falmouth, Elayna Evans of Danvers, Brenda Neshe of Waltham, Paula Hanley of Arlington and Diana Cullen of Manchester, NH.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday at 10AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated at St Charles Church 280 Main St., Woburn at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
