Amherst– Domenic Abitabile, 83, died March 6, 2008 at Harborside Northwood Nursing Home in Bedford following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Boston MA., on January 5, 1925 the son of Jeremiah and Giovanna (Rossi) Abitabile.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was a self employed bookkeeper.
He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Agnes (Rose) Abitabile in June of 2004.
Family members include three daughters, Michele Pelletier, of Amherst, Patricia Delaney, of Albuquerque NM., Rosemary Rodriguez, of New York, NY., and three grandchildren Nicole Dufour, of Amherst, Brian Delaney, of Berwick ME., and Anthony Dufour, of Atlanta GA.
