Dora Venditti, 95 of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness in the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett, MA.
Born in Italy, she lived in Medford for the past 68 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. Dora was the daughter of the late Olimpia (Carbone) and Giovanno Cerrato. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Venditti. Devoted mother of Richard Venditti and his wife Barbara of North Carolina, the late Ronald A. and his late wife Deanna. Loving grandmother of Rona Cavallaro and her husband Frank of Medford, Richard Venditti and his wife Susie of North Carolina, Greg Venditti of Georgia, Paul Venditti and his wife Jessica of North Carolina, and the late Christopher Venditti. Grandmother in law of Charlotte Ritson of Medford. Also survived by 9 loving great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8-9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
