Robert G. O´Neil, a life-long Medford resident, died Monday at his Medford home in the company of his loving family after a brief illness. He was 48.
Robert was born and raised in Medford. He graduated Medford High with the class of 1978. He attended Coyne Electrical School and worked as an electrician for most of his life. He owned and operated Medford’s B and G electric. He was also a member of American Legion Post 69 of Malden.
He was the Beloved father of Garrett and Breanna O’Neil. He was a cherished son of Ellie (Zager) O’Neil of Medford and Robert E. O’Neil of Fla. He was a devoted brother to Maureen Cranitch and her husband Daniel of Reading, Carol Brown and her husband Michael of Medfield, and Steven O’Neil and his wife Carolyn of Reading. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and is also survived by many dear friends.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
