Obituary

WORCESTER- Eva J. (Yankauskas) Tutino, 84, of Worcester died Tuesday, March 4 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 51 years, Joseph S. Tutino, died in 2001. She leaves two sons, Richard J. Tutino, with whom she lived, and Robert M. Tutino, and his wife, Kathaleen A. Tutino of Taunton; three grandchildren, Joseph A., Alexander J. and Victoria K. Tutino, and her sister Helen Paine. She was predeceased by two daughters during childbirth, her brother Adam J. Yankauskas and her sister Anna Verick.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Adam J. and Katherine (Grabauskas) Yankauskas. During WWII she worked for a manufacturing plant in Rochdale making stockings for Wacs and Waves. Eva was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved taking care of her cats. She was once a member of St. Casimir’s and St. John’s Church and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 10:00 AM in St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
