John Thomas age 82 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up and was educated in Andover, MA. He was the son of the late Jeroslaw & Amelia Tomascewski. He was a resident of Salem for the past 52 years, formerly of Andover.
Mr. Thomas owned and operated New England Ceramic Supply Company in Salem, NH. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and bird watching. He mostly enjoyed working around the home and gardening.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Ritchie) Thomas. He was also predeceased by a brother Steve Tomaski.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 5 from 1:30-2:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
