DANVERS: Helen (Taylor) Trask Youden, 94, died Friday, February 29, 2008 in the Radius Healthcare Center at Danvers. She was the beloved wife of Clayton P. "Bucky" Youden
Born in Beverly on April 26, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Florence (Nevers) Taylor. She had resided in Beverly for many years. In 1987 Helen and Bucky move to Garfield, Texas and returned to the North Shore in 1999.
She was once employed at the Sylvania plant in Salem for several years. She was a member of the Beverly Mother's Club. In her free time, she enjoyed boating, playing bingo, reading, traveling with her husband and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of fifty-four years, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda (Mailhoit) Trask of Beverly, two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Ottley of Danvers and Shelia and Robert Polizzi of Garfield, Texas, five grandchildren, Pamela and her husband, Bob Griffin of Danvers, Francis and his wife, Lois Ottley of Wagner, SC, Deborah Ottley and her companion, Steve Amor of Haverhill, Clayton and his wife, Deborah Polizzi of Round Rock, TX and Tracey Trask of Beverly, five great-grandchildren, Helen and Cristina Griffin, Stephen Amor, Jr. and Seth and Amber Polizzi and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her first husband Frederick Trask and her son-in-law, Francis Ottley.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Radius Healthcare Center, c/o Rhonda at 56 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
