Elaine C. Jensen, 83, of Malden, passed away on March 1st, 2008. She was born in Cambridge on November 13th, 1924 to her parents William A. and Agnes G. (Dolan) Jensen. Elaine was raised and educated in Revere before moving to Malden in 1942. Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary at the Malden District Courthouse for several years. Elaine was an avid bingo player and is a former member of the Irish American Club Ladies Auxiliary in Malden. She is survived by her sister Norma Nolan of Malden; her niece and nephews; Mark R. Nolan and his wife Maria of Melrose; William J. Nolan and his wife Pamela of Billerica and Andrea E. MacDonald and her husband Daniel of Tewksbury. She is also survived by her grandnieces and grandnephews Kyle, Olivia, William Jr., Shauna, Shelby, Nolan, Gavin, Mackin, Liam and Seamus. Along with her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her sister Margaret “Peggy” Jensen; her brother-in-law Walter “Red” Nolan and her friend and companion John Dwyer. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Tuesday March 4th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday March 3rd from 4-8 PM.
