Doris M. (Ferioli) Turco, 91 of Franklin, died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of Joseph J. Turco who died in 2004.
Born in Chelsea on June 15, 1916, Mrs. Turso was a daughter of the late Carlo and Emma (Terzi) Ferioli. She was a longtime resident of Franklin and a homemaker for most of her life.
Mrs. Turco was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a former member of the Catholic Women’s Club. She loved gardening and working outdoors and was a two time recipient of Yard of the Week awarded by the Town of Franklin. Mrs. Turco was also a devoted animal lover.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise E. Mullaney and her husband, Scott of Franklin and Susan Berard-Goldberg and her husband, Robert of Medway. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Nicole S. Berard, Dr. Richelle J. Berard and Colette M. Berard and a brother, Louis Ferioli of Franklin.
She was a sister of the late Carl and Albert Ferioli and Louise Carr and Betty Blanchard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin, on Tuesday, March 4 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Church Square in Franklin at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 8 – 8:45 a.m.
