Flood, Elaine (nee) Merten age 81 of Marco Island, FL formerly a longtime resident of Bergen County died Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Beloved wife of the late C. “Buddy” Flood. Devoted mother of Barbara Fillie and her husband Robert. Loving grandmother of Joanna and Kevin. Dear sister of Doris VanHouten. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Elaine was a nurse at Bergen Pines Hospital in Paramus she was also a Blood Bank Volunteer.
