New Bedford - Pauline (Beaulieu) Pariseau, 86, of Westport passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was widow of Joseph Julian Pariseau.
Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Toussaint and Albertine (St. Jean) Beaulieu, she had lived in New Bedford prior to moving to Westport in 1945. Mrs. Pariseau attended the Parting Way School until 8th grade and upon moving to New Bedford she graduated from Normandin Junior High. She worked at the Acushnet Process Co. in the payroll department and also at the Shelburn Shirt Co in the shipping department until its closing. She was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport.
Survivors include 6 sons: Normand G. Pariseau of Stratford, CT, Ernest Pariseau of Westport, Rene A. Pariseau of Taunton, Fr. John Luke Pariseau of Canada, William A. Pariseau of Westport and Roger Pariseau of New Bedford; 3 sisters: Clara Bonville of New Bedford, Beatrice Bergeron of New Bedford and Bertha Kresge of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren; a great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was grandmother of the late Jill Pariseau and sister of the late Juliette Rezendes, Romeo, Arthur, Octave “Joe”, George, Lucien and Alphonse Beaulieu.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, February 29, 2008 at St. George Church, Westport at 9:30 A.M.
Visitation will be Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
