In Taunton, February 26, 2008 of Belvoir Ave in Taunton, Lucy R. (Ciancio) Pistolese wife of the late Anthony Pistolese Sr. died at Morton Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Providence, RI Lucy was the daughter of the late David and Theresa (Bianchi) Ciancio. Lucy was a member of the Son’s of Italy in Attleboro and St Joseph Church in Taunton. Lucy worked at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro and Attleboro Public Schools in Food Service. She was the mother of Annemarie Gotham and her husband Stephen of Taunton and Anthony P. Pistolese Jr. and his wife Donna of Taunton. Grandmother of Stephen Gotham of Taunton, Therese Gouldrup and her husband Andrew of Taunton, Kimberly Johnson and her husband David of Taunton, Anthony Pistolese III and his wife Beth of Taunton, Tami Rebello of Middleboro, Thomas Drever Jr. of East Falmouth and Todd Drever of Fla. Great Grandmother of Eighteen Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild. Sister of Joseph Ciancio and his wife Mary of Cranston, RI and the late Anthony Ciancio and Anna Montaquila. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday February 29th at 10 am. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church in Taunton at 11 am. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 pm. Interment St. John’s Cemetery in Attleboro.
