Pearl S. Trotter Pearl S. Trotter, 106, Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. John D. Laida and Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday and from 11 am until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 4, 1902 in Montgomery County daughter of Edward Suiter and Vicey Manning Suiter. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter R. Trotter. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie T. Green and a great-grandson, Tony Pace. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. Survivors include a daughter, Sue T. Slate (James) Clarksville; four sons, Billy Ed Trotter, Cincinnati, OH; Don Trotter (Jeannie), Tampa, FL; Welbon R. Trotter (Beverly), Goodlettsville, TN; and Phil Trotter (Doris), Columbia, KY; and one sister, Omega Brown, Plymouth, Michigan. Also preceding her in death were six brothers: Leslie, William, Winston, John Thomas, Lacy, and Clyde Suiter; and four sisters: Julia Suiter, Agnes Dean, Nannie Lou Mills, and Elsie Roake. Pallbearers will be Chuck Trotter, Jeff Trotter, Tim Trotter, David Crass, Derek Crass, Steve Slate, Neal Slate, Richard Trotter, Scott Trotter, Tony Trotter, John Reinhardt, Jason Pace, and Darrell Pace.
