Obituary

BEVERLY: Paul L. Thomas, 70, formerly of Gloucester, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at his home.
Born in Gloucester on October 5, 1937, he was the son of the late Victor H. and Hazel E. (Chamberlain) Thomas. He had resided in Gloucester most of his life before moving to Beverly three years ago.
Paul was employed as a paint mixer for Rule Industries in Gloucester for several years. He had also once worked for B.F. Goodrich and as a taxi driver in Gloucester for several years. He was also an avid amateur painter.
He is survived by two daughters, Roxi Hunt of Vermont and Tiffany Thomas of Gloucester, two sons, Dean and his wife, Tina Thomas of Gloucester and Bobby Thomas of New Hampshire, six grandchildren, three sisters, Joan and her husband, Salvatore Ciolino, Sandra Blatchford and Vicki Laiacano all of Gloucester and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a son, Paul L. Thomas, Jr. and a sister, Carole Conard.
His funeral services will be held on Thursday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 260 Main St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
