Thomas L. O’Riordan, 88, of Manchester, NH and Derry, NH died February 7, 2003 at Kindred Hospital in Peabody, MA after a long illness.
He was born on April 17, 1914 in Lawrence, MA. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Boston University. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. O’Riordan ran many companies in the Midwest during the 1960’s. He later owned the O’Riordan Agency in Amherst, NH for many years. He also was Administrator at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA. He lived in Amherst, NH and Mont Vernon, NH for many years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Milford (NH) Rotary Club.
He was married to Margaret Mary Gallagher who died in 1998.
The family includes a son, Brian O’Riordan of Manchester, NH; two daughters, Deirdre O’Riordan of Manchester, NH and Maura O’Riordan Bloom of Blue Point, NY; two grandsons, Kevin Bloom and Eric Bloom; a son in law, Larry Bloom.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday February 11, 2003 in St. Michael Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA. Burial was in Holy Sepulcre Cemetery, North Andover.
