Obituary

Salem, NH – Juliet Tamer, 79, died Saturday February 23, 2008 at Carlyle Place in Bedford, New Hampshire.
Born in Lawrence August 7, 1928 Juliet was the daughter of the late Salem and Esther (Francis) Tamer. Ms. Tamer received her education in the Lawrence Schools, attending the Tarbox Grammar School and graduated Lawrence High School with the Class of 1945.
Juliet, for many years had been employed with the Social Security Administration and also the Internal Revenue Service. After her retirement, Juliet volunteered with various organizations within the local community.
Ms. Tamer was a communicant of Saint Anthony’s Maronite Church in Lawrence and loved traveling, the arts, and her family. She was also a singer with Saint Mels choir in Los Angeles under the direction of Shelly Cohen, musical director for the Johnny Carson Show.
Juliet is survived by one sister Helen M. Hatem and husband Edward A. of Salem, NH, one brother Salem (Mac) Tamer of Long Island, NY, one sister-in-law Lois Tamer of Wakefield and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Tamer was pre-deceased by brothers James (Tammie) Tamer and Assad (Ace) Tamer.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday evening at 6 :00p.m. in Saint Anthony Maronite Church of Lawrence with burial to take place at a later date. Family and friends may call on Tuesday 5:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at Saint Anthonys Maronite Church prior to her funeral mass.
