Frances K. Noponen, 73, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 23, 2008, surrounded by her devoted daughter, Barbara and loving grandson, James.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Barbara Demers and her grandson, James Demers and his wife, Wendy and great grandson, Joshua Demers of Chicopee, MA. two brothers, Raymond Cordella of FL and Frederick Cordella of Worcester and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of David and Mary (Simoncini) Cordella. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Noponen, a sister, Phyllis Carelli and a brother, David Paul Cordella.
Frances worked many years at Burncoat Plains Rest Home as a nurses aid. She loved going to Foxwoods to play the slots. Her biggest joy in life was her great-grandson Joshua, who always brought a smile to her face.
In accordance with Frances's wishes there will be no funeral or calling hours. She would like to be remembered as people saw her last - a genuine, kind-hearted soul. Frances will be cremated and laid to rest at a later date. For on-line condolences, please click on link below.
