Niall R. Fleming, also known as "Uncle Niall", 64, a resident of North Andover, MA., passed away on Friday, February 23, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, Mr. Fleming was educated in the Methuen Schools. He went on to graduate from Hebron Academy and had also attended Tufts University. Mr. Fleming had worked as an Engineer at Bolton-Emerson in Lawrence. Prior to that he had worked for R.C.A. Mr. Fleming used to race Funny Cars and was a member of the Mass. Street Rod Association. He was also a member of the Society of American Magicians and enjoyed performing magic tricks for his nieces and nephews. A member of the Planetary Society, Mr. Fleming would do Astronomy Slide Shows at St. Michael's Church. He enjoyed summers at Salisbury Beach as well as fishing.

a sister: Rhonda Chase and her husband Robert of Methuen, MA., as well as 15 nieces and nephews and 2 uncles. Mr. Fleming is also survived by in-laws: Joyce and Alex Szczapa of Atkinson, NH, Connie and Tom O'Neil of Salisbury, MA., Frank and Carol Perry of Medford, MA. and Martha and Ken Mailloux of Methuen, MA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA. Family and Friends may call on Monday, February 25, 2008 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
