Rose C. MendoliaRose (Cericola) Mendolia of Needham formerly of Wareham and Newton Upper Falls died suddenly at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham at the age of 88. Born in Needham Rose was a resident of Newton Upper Falls for 60 years. While she lived in Newton she worked at the Stowe Woodward Company during the 50’s and into the 60’s. Rose later moved to Wareham where she resided for nearly 25 years. Rose was the beloved wife of Joseph Mendolia Jr. Loving mother of Robert J. and his wife Mary Anne Mendolia of Needham. Brother of Mary D’Edgio of CA and the late Ralph, Michael and Leonard Cericola. Dear Grandmother of Debbie and her Husband Norman Kenney Jr. of Newton Upper Falls and Nancy O’Toole of Medfield. Great grandmother of Norman, Kristin, R.J., Amanda, Danny and Brian. Funeral Services will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Saturday Feb. 8th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment services at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham. Memorials in Rose’s memory may be made to your favorite charity.
