Thistle-Gordon , Virginia (Crosson), of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Medford, passed away on February 16th after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Bertram H. Thistle and the late Thomas C. Gordon. Devoted mother of Thomas F. Gordon and his wife Michelle of Nashua, NH and Margaret Gordon Franek of Ormond Beach, FL. Cherished grandmother of Derek, Michael and Kerrie Franek and Brian and Kevin Gordon. Loving great grandmother of MacKenzie, Dominique, Catriona, Mariyah and Amirah. For several years, Virginia worked as a secretary for the School Dept. in the City of Medford. She was a communicant at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Medford and was also a former member of the Mother’s Club at the Parish. Funeral from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Thursday Feb. 21st at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford at 10 AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
