Rosaria “Rose” “Sarah” Palumbo, 76 of Medford, died Sunday after a brief illness in the Sawtelle Hospice House, Reading, MA. Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for over 60 years and formerly of the West End of Boston. She was an Administrator, with Fiduciary Trust Company for over 30 years and a member of the Medford Senior Citizens.
Cherished daughter of the late Lucy (Solano) and Roy Palumbo. Sister of Vincent Palumbo and his wife Marie of Winchester, and the late Lucille V. Connell. Sister in law of John Connell of Medford. Loving aunt of Tiffany Connell, Christine Randazzo, Jonroy Connell and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Rosaria’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
