Elizabeth A. Flynn, 74, of Medford, passed away at the Life Care Center of Stoneham on February 16th, 2008. She was born in Medford on February 23rd, 1933 to her parents George J. and Agnes (Hogan) Flynn. Elizabeth was raised and educated in Medford, graduating from Medford High School. As a young woman, she worked at the Boys Club in Charlestown . She later worked as an administrator at Investors Bank & Trust in Boston for over 30 years, developing many lasting friendships with her co-workers. She is survived by her brother, George J. Flynn Jr. and his wife Marianne of Medford; her sister-in-law Emily Flynn of Saugus; her nephew Brian D. Flynn and his wife Kelly of Melrose; her niece Lorine E. Flynn and her husband Gary Bell of Burlingame, CA; her grandnephew Danny Flynn and her grandniece Bridget Bell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford on Wednesday February 20th at 10 AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday February 19th from 4-8 PM. Interment is private.
