Obituary

Roland G. Allard, 77, of Manchester, died February 15, 2008, at the Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on October 24, 1930, the son of Armand and Laura (Chavanelle) Allard.
During the Korean Conflict, he served in the US Army.
Prior to retirement, Roland worked in the grocery business for his entire career. He had been employed by Champagne’s Super Market and Grand Union.
He was a lifelong active parishioner of St. Marie Parish. He was a faithful Catholic as well as a loving and caring husband and father who was always willing to help those around him. He enjoyed watching hockey games, especially his beloved Montreal Canadians.
Members of his family include his wife of 54 years, Antoinette (Beaulieu) Allard of Manchester; two daughters, Annette Fletcher of Weare and Pauline Beaulieu of Manchester; three sons, Armand Allard of Goffstown, Marcel Allard of Goffstown, and Raymond Allard of Manchester; two brothers, Paul Allard of Auburn and Rev. Marcel Allard of Manchester; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday February 19, 2008 in St. Marie Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester.
